We just got back from seeing the pediatrician, Dr. Fox. Addie now weighs 7 pounds 2.6 ounces and is 19 3/4 inches long! This is up from her original 6 pounds 13.5 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long! She is growing like a weed! Dr. Fox was very pleased with how she is doing. We will see the pediatric cardiologist, Dr. Zittergren, on Wednesday and after that Dr. Fox and Dr. Zittergren will give us a care plan for going forward. This will include their goals and treatment plan over the next 6 months.
At the appointment Dr. Fox said he doesn't want Addie to be handled by a lot of people until she is 2 months old to prevent her from getting sick. This will be difficult as we want to show her off, but we don't want her to get sick either so if that means less time spent showing her off, no problem. He said we could go to public places that were more open, but to not allow a lot of people to hold and handle her. So we can start going to church when we are ready, she just can't go to the nursery or be held by people, which is fine by us since the ultimate goal is keeping her healthy!
