Addie had her first time getting cereal today. She did really good! I had been a little hesitant, but with grandma's encouragement and help, we did it! We gave it to her this morning and then again tonight and she was already getting the hang of it tonight. I think she could have ate a lot more, but I didn't want to over do it on the first day. She is sound asleep now, and I'm hoping with the help of the cereal she'll be back to her old 10-11 hour nights. I miss those!
Zac ended up heading back to IA for some work stuff, so Addie and I are going to stay in IL till Tuesday and then mom's going to drive us back to IA since she has the day off for Veteran's day. Been enjoying getting to relax a bit and let grandma and grandpa help take care of Addie. Great Grandma Larson even took care of her for a bit today so mom and I could get some shopping done. It was nice!
Well, going to get to bed since Addie was up at 5:30 today and I didn't get my normal afternoon nap! =) I've got some cute pics of Addie with her cereal face I'll try to get posted tomorrow.
Hi Erin,So I finally read through some of the earlier months and I know where you have been girl. Have you heard about the movie, "Somehthing the Lord Made" It was an HBO original so I don't know if it is in every blockbuster. lol someone bought it for me. Anyway, it is a powerful movie about serval things, one of which was the development of TOF surgery and another about equal rights for blacks since one of the pioneers was a black american. If you have a chance you should pick it up, but bring you tissues!!
ReplyDeleteoh first cereal pictures are always fun! can wait to see them!! glad all is well!
ReplyDeletecan't wait to see the pics and if you're in Central IL, swing over to our blog and post up your location. It would be cool to see you irl but my guess is you're closer to Chicago. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteglad to hear she enjoyed her first taste of cereal!
ReplyDeleteWhen you get a chance can you send me an email? I wanted to answer your question about reviewing products, but didn't want to take up your comment section (and couldn't find your email!) Thanks!
